Abundance hosted a panel at The World Transformed 2025 entitled "What Does Winning Look Like? A Strategy for Radical Abundance". At the panel we heard from organisers involved with three inspirational cases that we discuss in our book Radical Abundance: How to Win a Green Democratic Future.
Today we have published the full text of the contribution made by Iker Eizagirre, from the Hiritik-At cooperative in Irún (Spanish Basque Country). The contribution explored the pioneering example of public-economic-communitarian planning in the town of Hernani.
The experience of Hernani is an ongoing inspiration to us in Abundance, and we are continuing to partner with Hiritik-At through 2026 in developing multi-scalar approaches to public-common planning.
